The flower baskets on the lamp posts are attended and watered by the residents.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The length of High Street between <a href=\"https:\/\/happyvalley.org.uk\/?page_id=2365\">Palmerston Street<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/happyvalley.org.uk\/?page_id=2252\">Fern Bank Rise<\/a> is part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/happyvalley.org.uk\/?page_id=1313\">Historic Triangle<\/a> conservation area improvement project.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The top part of the street, from <a href=\"https:\/\/happyvalley.org.uk\/?page_id=2252\">Fern Bank Rise<\/a> to <a href=\"https:\/\/happyvalley.org.uk\/?page_id=2206\">Chancery Lane<\/a>, presently has houses on one side, high above the street, enjoying wonderful hill views to the north and east. The other side overlooks <a href=\"https:\/\/happyvalley.org.uk\/?page_id=2240\">Deanway<\/a> (Bollin Heights, Mill Bank Court) which is approached through <a href=\"https:\/\/happyvalley.org.uk\/?page_id=2236\">Cumberland Drive<\/a>. This upper part of High Street used to be known as Red Lion Brow. Brows are described on <a href=\"https:\/\/happyvalley.org.uk\/?page_id=2202\">another page<\/a>.
