It bridges the join between Palmerston Street and Wellington Road and is little more than 100m long; the street passes round the back of the Dog &amp; Partridge. It contains a variety of interesting old stone houses.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Approach off <a href=\"https:\/\/happyvalley.org.uk\/?page_id=2365\">Palmerston Street<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/happyvalley.org.uk\/?page_id=2425\">Wellington Road<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/happyvalley.org.uk\/?page_id=899\">Adlington Road<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Nearest shops &#8211; further up <a href=\"https:\/\/happyvalley.org.uk\/?page_id=2365\">Palmerston Street<\/a>, further down <a href=\"https:\/\/happyvalley.org.uk\/?page_id=2425\">Wellington Road<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Nearest pubs &#8211; encompasses the <a href=\"https:\/\/happyvalley.org.uk\/?page_id=206\">Dog &amp; Partridge<\/a>. The <a href=\"https:\/\/happyvalley.org.uk\/?page_id=224\">Vale Inn<\/a> is down Adlington Road.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Council Ward &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bollington-tc.gov.uk\/council\/councillors#central\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Central<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">The little building (2nd picture) behind the Dog &amp; Partridge used to be the Bridewell &#8211; Bollington&#8217;s town prison!
