\"CoffeeThe Coffee Tavern isn’t in Bollington, but for those walkers in the area of Pott Shrigley and Lyme Park, it is a usefully located caf\u00e9. Found on Shrigley Road (the road from Pott Shrigley to Higher Poynton), The Coffee Tavern is a genuine curiosity. Built in 1887 to celebrate Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee and originally a lending library, this charming caf\u00e9 was transformed into its current guise around the turn of the 21st century. It has seating for about 30 guests and offers a range of teas, coffees and snacks as well as hearty meals, with a selection of specials chalked up on a large board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
