He is notable for the fact that he wrote and published an interesting history of the town,&nbsp;<em>Bollington Through the Centuries<\/em>&nbsp;in 1934. This has been republished in 2005 and copies are available from the <span class=\"discover\">\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/happyvalley.org.uk\/?page_id=32\">Discovery\u00a0Centre<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>.
