Notes for John INGHAM We have in our collection John Ingram's Will together with a large collection of the legal papers associated with it's execution. In his Will he refers to having already given £800 to his daughter Elizabeth. The Will is dated 6 July 1886 and it may be surmised that this is when John Ingham retired from his business and went to live in Brock Street, Macclesfield, and at that time made the business over to his daughter and her husband Samuel Unwin. See the web page (link above) for more on this. [92] It is probable that John trained his son in law, Samuel Unwin in the drapery trade. Possibly owned Manchester House in Palmerston Street.
