Notes for Mary SIGLEY Mary was born to Edward SIGLEY and Emma GASKELL who were married and therefore her surname was SIGLEY. However, after her mother′s death her father lived unmarried with Alice GASKELL, whose own children were surnamed GASKELL. Her father then recorded Mary as a GASKELL on later census returns.
