About us

The Bollington Festival Players produce an annual pantomime as well as plays.

Early January is Panto season – we have a large group of performers of all ages, who make our annual shows great fun for all the family. The panto generally runs for just over a week – opening on Friday night and ending eight days later on Saturday night. Matinée performances are shown on both Saturdays and the Sunday.

Beyond the regular panto, we also run plays – typically one or two a year. These may feature adult casts, juniors, or both.

All of our performances are at The Arts Centre in Bollington, a small town near Macclesfield in Cheshire. The venue is quite small, which we think adds an extra amount of magic to our shows. A bar is usually open for each performance, and soft drinks and sweets can be bought during the interval at pantos.

You can find out more about the venue here: www.bollingtonartscentre.org.uk
