An Indian restaurant in a Cheshire village! Unlikely I know, but it’s there all right and very good it is too (actually there are two!). Eat in or take away, the choice is yours. Booking not essential but worthwhile for busy times like Friday and Saturday evenings and the very popular Sunday buffet lunch.

Excellent Indian cuisine. Generous portions and wonderful flavours abound. The Sunday lunch spread is renowned far and wide.
This restaurant is so good that folk drive past the curry mile in Rusholme to come and eat here!
From the roundabout outside the Turners, take Ingersley Road; the Viceroy is 250m on the left. If the turn in is too sharp for you, drive on 50m and turn round to return to the entrance at an easier angle.
FROM 31st JULY 2019 INGERSLEY ROAD IS CLOSED TO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC 100m ON THE VILLAGE SIDE OF THE VICEROY DUE TO DAMAGE DONE TO THE HIGHWAY IN A VIOLENT STORM. CUSTOMERS SHOULD EITHER PARK LOWER DOWN INGERSLEY ROAD AND WALK THE LAST 100m, OR DRIVE TO POTT SHRIGLEY, TURN INTO SPULEY LANE, TURN RIGHT AT THE TOP OF SMITHY BROW, AND APPROACH THE VICEROY FROM THE TOP END OF INGERSLEY ROAD. THIS IS LESS THAN A 5 MINUTE DIVERSION FROM THE VILLAGE.
