Eric was notable for taking a great deal of film of Bollington and Bollington events over more than 50 years. He very kindly donated this most valuable history to the people of Bollington through the care of Bollington Civic Society, and these films were then given to the North West Film Archive for safe keeping and conversion to digital, with two copies returned to Bollington.
