~ CONDIO was a Canadian airman posted in the UK. He made a visit to Bollington during WWII to see members of his wife’s family. This event was recalled by Laurence Holmes.

Notes for Evelyn HOLMES

Thought to have been a twin, but not sure who with. She emigrated to Canada with her aunt in 1913 aged 9, travelling on the Empress of Ireland. [132]
