Notes for Robert BLINCOE Very interesting life recorded in biography. Said to have worked at Lomax's mill in Bollington - but no one has ever heard of this! I suspect it may be a mis-spelling of Lomas's mill, Waterhouse mill which later became Oliver's mill (Peter Lomas's daughter married Thomas Oliver). Read the Wikipedia page on Blincoe for more.
