He has not been found [locally] in censuses after 1881 so he is possibly the George WARBURTON whose death was registered in 4Q1888 Macclesfield 8a 104, aged 33 though the age is a year too high. However, see '1901' below.

1881: a George WARBURTON (26) is living at 14 Riga Street, Hulme, Manchester, Lancashire, with a housekeeper; working as a carter.

1901: a George WARBURTON (46) is a tailor living at 76 Bridge Street, Macclesfield, with a sister Ellen[? he had no sister Ellen, could this be Eliza?]. Both unmarried. [141]
