Family notes for Alfred GASKELL and Mary DAVIS Alfred GASKELL was a sergeant in the British Army in WWI and Mary′s first husband, William BAGULEY, was one of his squad. Sadly William was killed in action and Alfred returned William′s personal effects by hand to Mary.
