A converted and very thoroughly modernised farmhouse and barns located in outstanding countryside with beautiful hill views all round. Many stunning walks in the hills and valleys around the house. Bollington village and its excellent pubs and restaurants begins just quarter of a mile down the valley. The house used to be the Cheshire Hunt inn.

Finding it: | From Rainow – you’ve gone to the wrong village; *this part of Rainow is accessed from Bollington! Head towards Whaley Bridge and once outside the village take the first left down Blaze Hill. After 1.5 miles, towards the bottom of a steep hill, turn right at the cross roads into Spuley Lane. In about 250m take the lane first right marked Hedgerow. Cheshire Hunt cottages are immediately on the left. From Macclesfield and Bollington, find the roundabout at the top (east) end of Bollington, head up Ingersley Road which is to the right of the bus turn-round, when the houses end keep on up Smithy Brow and fork to the left of the cottage into Spuley Lane, in about 250m take the lane first right marked Hedgerow. Cheshire Hunt cottages are immediately on the left. Coming from Adlington (airport, Stockport, Manchester) drive to Pott Shrigley. Keep to the Bollington road round the church then take the left fork at the next junction into Spuley Lane. After about half a mile find a wide part of the road (parking area on left). Turn left into Hedgerow at the end of this area. Cheshire Hunt cottages are immediately on the left. |
