Notes for George Samuel BLEASE George Samuel BLEASE was a blacksmith at Orme′s Smithy at the top of Smithy Brow.
It is
thought that the name of the road above the smithy, Blaze Hill, may be derived from Blease.
The two names appear interchangeably in some documents.
