Meadows View

Meadows View is a new development completed in late 2022 immediately on the left on entering Cumberland Drive. These three storey town houses are built into sharply rising ground so that access at the back is at the first floor level. There is reasonably level paved space in front of the properties for vehicle access and parking. I am not sure where the name originates from but a view of meadows there is none. The site overlooks the main part of Bollington with Tullis Russell’s paper mill and St John’s church plus rooftops in the middle view and the attractive wooded hillside of Beeston and Oak Bank on the other side of the valley.

Nearest shops – Palmerston Street, with pedestrian access via Deanway, Mill Bank Court, Park Street and High Street.

Nearest pubs – Spinner’s Arms, restaurants in High Street and Palmerston Street.

Council Ward – Central.
