The thriving Bollington & District Horticultural Society holds a Spring Show in March each year, as well as regular monthly meetings.

The Bollington & District Horticultural Society meets at 7.30 pm on the 3rd Thursday of each month (unless otherwise stated) at The Community Centre, Ovenhouse Lane, Bollington. Members £l.50 Non-Members £3.00.

We hold a Spring Show in March each year. The schedule is obtainable via the link below but only once it is published a few weeks before the show, or from the Secretary. Non-members always welcome at meetings.

HORTICULTURAL EVENTS PLANNED FOR 2018

The Bollington and District Horticultural Society meets at 7:30pm on the 3rd Thursday of each month (unless otherwise stated) at The Community Centre, Ovenhouse Lane, Bollington, Cheshire. SK10 5EY. Members £1:50 Non-members £3:00.
Please remember that your subscription of £6 for 2018 was due in January.

    Saturday 10th March 2018 at the Civic Hall, Bollington. 2 – 4.00pm
  2. Tasty Tomatoes
    Thursday 15th March 2018 David Thornton will give us his top tips.
  3. Agapanthus, Tulbaghia and Clivia
    Thursday 19th April 2018. A talk by Steve from the Hoyland Plant Centre, which holds he National collection of agapanthus and tulbaghia.
  4. Trip to Keukenhof Gardens, Netherlands
    Sunday April 29th and Monday April 30th.
  5. Vegetable Inspirations
    Thursday 17th May 2018 Sally Smith, a professional gardener will advise on productive ways to grow organic vegetables in containers and beds.
  6. Garden Visit to Lower Withington
    Thursday 28th June 2018.
  7. How to Manage an Historic Garden
    Thursday 19th July 2018 A talk by Simon Gulliver, Advisor to National Trust Gardens.
  8. Trip to Bluebell Cottage Gardens (TBC)

  9. The New RHS ‘Bridgewater’ Garden (TBC)
    Thursday 20th September 2018 Marcus Chilton-Jones will introduce the new local RHS garden.
