Children (?):
Notes for John GASKELL John of Ingersley built Ingersley House in 1774. One of his most lasting contributions was the building, in 1817, of the monument we now call White Nancy at the top of Kerridge Hill. This was built to celebrate the victory of the Battle of Waterloo in 1815 and was originally a summer house. [105]
Notes for Betty SHAW Sister-in-law of William Clayton of Endon, Kerridge. [105]
