Bollington’s Well Dressings 2018. The theme for 2018 was “100 years since …”, as 2018 marked the centenary of the end of the First World War, the centenary of the RAF, and the centenary of the granting of Votes for Women (as campaigned for by Emmeline Pankhurst). Whilst a little faded and cracked by the sun (the heatwave of June 2018!), they are still a poignant reminder of how lucky we are in Bollington today. These pictures show the displays at the six well dressing sites:
