Parent and Baby Groups

This is a list of parent and baby groups currently running in Bollington (plus the free groups run by Cheshire East Council at the Macclesfield Children’s Centres which cover Bollington). Most groups are term-time only.

Monday

Parents, Bumps, and Babies morning at Mother Nature Sanctuary, Bollington, includes sling demo on 1st Monday of the month, drop in 10-11:30, £2 per family.

Stay & Play at Ash Grove Children’s Centre, Macclesfield, ages 0-5, drop in 9:30-11, free.

Toddler Talking at the Arts Centre, Bollington, 11:15-12:15, £5.50 per class.

Tiny Talk at the Arts Centre, Bollington (baby sign language), 12:30-13:30, £5.50 per class.

Tuesday

Storytime at Bollington Library, all ages, 10-10:30, free.

Praise & Play at St. Oswald’s Church, Bollington, ages 0-5, 9.30am-11.30am every Tuesday in term-time. Toys, games, stories, songs, prayers, snacks for little ones, drinks, biscuits, chats and friendship for carers. A donation £2 per family would be welcome.

Stay and Play at Broken Cross Children’s Centre, Macclesfield, ages 0-5, drop in 9:30-11, free.

Tiny Tots at Hurdsfield Children’s Centre, Macclesfield, birth-walking, drop in 10-11, free.

Tuesday Toddlers Stay & Play, Nest In The Woods, Brookledge Lane (opposite the junction with Springbank Lane) SK10 4JX , drop in 9:30-11:30, £5 per child.

Buggyfit ClassesBollington Recreation Ground: weekly, Tuesday, 10 – 11am.

Wednesday

Rhyme time at Bollington Library, all ages, 10-10:30, free.

Tiny Tots at Ash Grove Children’s Centre, Macclesfield, birth-walking, drop in 9:30-11, free.

Thursday

Praise & Play at St. Christopher’s Church, Pott Shrigley, ages 0-5, 9:30-11, free.

Stay & Play at Hurdsfield Children’s Centre, Macclesfield, ages 0-5, drop in 13:30-15:00, free.

Tiny Tots at Broken Cross Children’s Centre, Macclesfield, birth-walking, drop in 13:30-15:00, free.

Friday

Rhyme time at Bollington Library, all ages, 10-10:30, free.

SMILE group (supporting mums in living with emotions) a friendly peer support group for parents experiencing postnatal depression/anxiety, children welcome, drop in at Hurdsfield Children’s Centre, 10-12, free.

Greenwood Growth CIC Forest School These sessions are so much more than an outdoor playgroup. They’re about connecting with nature, learning about our natural environment, cooking, learning new forest skills and being together.
They’re absolutely amazing. ❤️❤️ Remember your first session is free of charge.
Groups are led by our super friendly and experienced practitioners with plenty of support in place for you and your tiny people.
