Vehicle excise licenses can be renewed at this office. CEC Rates can be paid here. Foreign Currency can be ordered here, in person, payment with order; two business days notice required for delivery. Cash can also be drawn from many bank current accounts at this Post Office.

Some transactions can only be carried out at Crown Post Offices. The nearest is at Merseyway Shopping Centre, Level 1 (within TG Jones), Stockport.
This is the last Post Office in Bollington. There used to be at least two, even three at one time. Post offices have been located in many different buildings over the years. While we don’t know when the first one opened, we have pictures showing their existence back to the late 19thC. One of our post offices, in Palmerston Street, was even subjected to an armed robbery during which the Post Mistress, dear Mrs Roberts, was shot at and subsequently lost a leg (1981).
Alternatives: There are Post Offices in Tytherington shopping centre (opposite Shell FS), also on Hurdsfield Road (on the left side going up, just past Hulley Road junction), and inside TJ Jones (was WH Smith) in Mill Street, Macclesfield.
