An unbroken terrace of 17 stone cottages built by Philip Antrobus in the early 1820s for his workers at Lowerhouse, these are a significant part of the heritage surrounding the mill. In front of the cottages is a communal access path and, beyond that, small gardens. There is limited vehicular access at the back of the properties.
Approach off Moss Brow, there is also a pedestrian way from Albert Road.
